Over the last few weeks, Mencap has shared with Network Partners their plans about tackling the issues around medical treatment and DNR’s letters from GPs and Hospitals which stemmed from the first draft of the NICE guidelines.
We have developed a template letter for you to use to send to GPs or Hospitals if you hear of any instances of these letters being sent to the people you support. Please also get in touch with us so we can track the use of these letters from health professionals across the Network.
