Include.org would be nothing without its volunteers!
Our Volunteers are a fantastic group of people who bring warmth, enthusiasm and time to make Include somewhere that everyone is valued equally and helped to be the best they can be. They have even received an award for dedication and commitment from the Mayor of Reigate and Banstead.
From supporting the choir as a communication partner or assistant to working behind the scenes, in research, communications, design or finance – or even becoming a Trustee– there is an opportunity for everyone.
Volunteers receive training in Inclusive Communication and disability awareness – and each volunteer is invited to create a personal development plan so they can work on particular skills they want to develop.
We welcome volunteers with additional needs and will put together a Volunteer Buddy programme to help you get the most out of the experience.
So whether you are local to East Surrey and would like to volunteer with The Include Choir, or you have a passion for inclusion and communication and would like to do something behind the scenes – there is a role for you.
We believe that creating a more inclusive society should be fun and uplifting. And that’s what our volunteers tell us we do best!
So why not come and be Included?
